KRANKENSTEIN is Grand Junction’s own high-voltage tribute to the glory days of 1980s hard rock and hair metal. Blazing through crowd-favorite anthems with faithful recreations, party-rock power, and theatrical flair, this six-piece brings the Sunset Strip back to life—one guitar riff at a time!
Formed in 2025 by local guitarist Jeremy Ferber (TIGHTEN), the project was born from one simple need: give a new Les Paul a proper stage—and assemble the perfect band to do it. The result? A powerhouse lineup of experienced musicians, each driven by a shared passion for delivering high-energy shows packed with nostalgic hits. Krankenstein doesn’t just sound like the era—they look the part, with flashy stage outfits, commanding presence, and tight musicianship that keeps the crowd engaged from curtain to encore.
With male and female lead vocals, dueling guitars, thundering drums, pulsing bass and glam-ready stagewear, Krankenstein is both a tribute and a celebration of a larger-than-life era. They know how to deliver a show that keeps the party going and the people shouting along to every word of “Welcome to the Jungle” like it’s 1987 again!
